Good to hear movement on a 19 Oct build. My 15 Oct build is still without a release date. Evidently, it is the line leader of the "First in - Last out" program at ramp 59.

Those of you who received their raptor, can you notice how wide the truck is? Keeping it inside the lane or parking it, I remember my 2014 Roush Raptor and I normally parked in the boonies and took up the whole space.

I've heard of other people asking for no prep too, and I'm curious as to why? I've only bought one new vehicle previously, so I'd like to understand the reasoning behind not having the dealer prep the vehicle.

Because dealer "prep" is them sending it to the washing bay where 10$ a hour kids wash your truck with a mop and bucket that has washed every vehicle that day also. Take it home and wash it properly yourself
Agreed plus I usually drive straight to the shop for goodies, so I'd prefer the plastic there to protect whatever it can while randos are in the truck over the next 1-2 weeks
For me, the last dealer I used absolutely demolished my 2016 Limited during their "cleanup/prep." Plus is am VERY picky.
All F-150s have a little white sticker on the bottom LH corner of the back glass, the $8 an hour bottom of the totem pole bonehead scraped that sticker off with a RAZOR BLADE. Scratched the heck out of the back glass. Then, they managed to knock a can of glass cleaner over on the hood and scratch it, run a vacuum across the leather seats and scratched them all up, and finally installed the radio antenna with pliers instead of a proper wrench and scuffed all the paint off the antenna. Not to mention swirl marks, etc.
I learned my lesson. I told the salesman for my Raptor absolutely ZERO prep. He said they'd take it out of transport mode and that was it. Mine still had all the plastic on the outside, plastic all over the interior, plastic over the door sill sticker plates, all the factory paperwork (which was very interesting), a VEHICLE COMPLETE sign, the pickup slip from the transporter, etc etc.
All the Dearborn trucks arrive NASTY. The truck was filthy. This is my 5th Raptor and they all arrive like this. Covered in that white salt spray, dirt, road grime, etc.
It's all cleaned up now and ready to go though!
** A couple of things I noticed (which Im sure have already been covered)
- It does have a matching spare tire/wheel
- Has really nice FORD PERFORMANCE door sill kick plates
- Back doors also have carbon fiber. Well worth the money for the CF package.
- Ford Performance logo incorporated into the engine cover.
- Nice to finally be able to pull the front camera up on demand with the camera button. Hated that on the dino Raptors.
- Most importantly, Avalanche = GREY. Pics show that color all over the place. Some look white, some look light grey. THE COLOR IS GREY.
- Graphics are really nice. Incorporate a nice silver outline and very nice gradient shading on them.
- Hood is VERY HEAVY.
- AGM battery.

Gotcha. Makes sense. I thought there were other "prep" items too, such as activating the computer/electronic gizmos. Does the dealer still take care of those items when you ask for no prep?
On a side note, I would have killed for a job washing cars for $10 an hour when I was a kid. I would have done a good job too. I guess $10 doesn't buy what it used to.

WOW! After that experience I can TOTALLY understand never having a dealer prep a vehicle again. Unreal. I'd be furious. Thanks for the info. I'm going to request the same thing if/when my truck ever comes in.

All screws
11 Silver, 12 White, 13 Terrain, 14 Black SE, 17 Avalanche. They sell so well I drive them for hardly anything! Only problem is I've been without one for a while because when they announced the 17s, I sold my last one before the bottom fell out of it.
And to add, the only necessary prep item is to take it out of transport mode. Forgot to mention the bonehead dealer did NOT do that to my 16 Limited. I had to figure that out myself thanks to youtube. I called them as soon as I got on the highway and they said to "drive it x miles and it will go away." lol. Needless to say, I will NEVER buy another vehicle from them.
Just got the text my Oct 13th build has been delivered to the dealer! Worst part I am leaving to go out of town for few days and now wife is jumping with joy she gets to go pick it up and drive for the weekend! Can't wait!! Delivered Jan 5th. Don't have any other details yet. Can't wait to find out how many miles are on it.
