Crash protection removed from Raptor?

I'm not sure what Ford has or has not changed with the Raptor between the Screw and Scab. I am just aware that they removed the front crash bars. However I did take a look at the video and HOLY CRAP there is indeed a huge difference in the crash performance between the cabs. I'm posting a link to the video for any who wants to check it out.

I did a side by side comparison on Friday, when I went to view a Raptor that had just arrived at a nearby dealer. The bar that is indeed behind the front wheel wells on the 2016 F150's is not there on the Raptors. I was very disappointed to find this out, because my dealer never said that this vehicle didn't have it. I have pictures, and will try to post them later. That was one of the features that I was excited about getting. So much for that!

Assuming that won't go anywhere, anyone know of any other place we may be able to get information as to why the front crash bar in the wheel wells was removed?

Watching that 2015 SCAB youtube crash test video isn't making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :-/
