So no crash bars on the factory production Raptor? I *** thinking same of the photos we saw early on were preproduction and possibly they never installed them.

I'm not sure what Ford has or has not changed with the Raptor between the Screw and Scab. I am just aware that they removed the front crash bars. However I did take a look at the video and HOLY CRAP there is indeed a huge difference in the crash performance between the cabs. I'm posting a link to the video for any who wants to check it out.

Now what if the Raptor screw and scab both performs like the 2015 f150 scab? That would be a major issue.

Your post doesn't help. It has no helpful information. Stronger suspension and bigger tires does nothing to add to crash protection. In fact, bigger tires causes MORE cab intrusion.

Canadian Raptors do not have the crash bars like their big American bothers. The main reason for this is the Canadian Raptor got a 9 Stars out of possible 5 in the IIHS in the APW Index (Apologies Per Wreck Index):

I did a side by side comparison on Friday, when I went to view a Raptor that had just arrived at a nearby dealer. The bar that is indeed behind the front wheel wells on the 2016 F150's is not there on the Raptors. I was very disappointed to find this out, because my dealer never said that this vehicle didn't have it. I have pictures, and will try to post them later. That was one of the features that I was excited about getting. So much for that!

Anyone with twitter mind asking Mike Levine for comment on this?

Assuming that won't go anywhere, anyone know of any other place we may be able to get information as to why the front crash bar in the wheel wells was removed?

Watching that 2015 SCAB youtube crash test video isn't making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :-/

Then don't you dare watch a RAM crash test. Let's try to keep things in perspective folks.

Crash Test Results Raise Questions about Ram Trucks

Ford's F-Series was the only model tested that earned the highest overall rating, "good," and was deemed an IIHS Top Safety Pick.

The F-Series, which has panels made of high-strength aluminum that are lighter than the steel used on other pickups, has been the target of ad campaigns run by competitors, which suggest the aluminum body is not as strong as steel — and therefore not as safe.
