I find this whole story to be pretty funny... So Camburg Racing posted a picture on Instagram saying that the "almost stock" Tacoma #701 beat the Raptor, finished 4th in its class, and even stopped and helped pull the Raptor out of a silt bed. Instagram screenshot shown below. (https://www.instagram.com/p/BNBxoH-hZom/)

According to the Official SCORE Results page, truck #701 driven by Brandon Walsh DNF'd (Did Not Finish). Screenshot below. To make things worse, ADD posted that ANOTHER Raptor pulled the race Raptor out of the silt section, not a Tacoma:

UPDATE:

Foutz is in the house! He's very happy with the truck, and yes he drove it all the way home to Phoenix. Best part, NO GREMLINS. No overheating, no issues with the truck. They did break a lower rear shock mount when they hit a rock, but were able to re-weld the mount & continue the race. If you guys noticed on the tracker it looked like he wasn't moving for a long period of time. There was a bottle neck on the course where everyone was waiting for people to get unstuck. No other issues until RM 830, they got stuck in the silt & had to wait on another 2017 Raptor chase truck to arrive & pull them out. It was a long weekend of no sleep for the team but well worth it.

Also doesn't help that there were only 5 trucks in the class the Tacoma raced in, so 4 out of 5 might not be something to brag about. Not sure why the Tacoma team would lie about all of that, unless there is a mistake somewhere?

Maybe they're talking about the Gen 1 Raptor (No. 8125) that had the steering issue and DNF?

I just asked Brandon Walsh on that Camburg post if he was referring to #8125 or #8117.

Interested in seeing if he even responds. He's trying to compare two trucks in different classes. Moreover, when him and all the followers are making such a huge deal that the Tacoma beat the Raptor (if it could even be considered beating it) it sure does say something about the truck that everyone wants to compare themselves too

Question is did the '17 Raptor get pulled out at all by the Tundra or the Gen 1 get pulled out by the Tacoma?
