Hey great job. I loved reading your thread as well. Thanks for posting. So its been over a year and I was curious as to how well its holding? have you had to retouch?

Thanks! I actually sold the truck a couple months ago, but sold it with the dip. I belive it's still dipped, I can text the new owner and find out. Dip was holding up good when I sold it. The only issue I saw is where I sprayed over the graphics looked kinda thin compared to when I first sprayed it. Not sure why on the graphics.

I've dipped the busa 3x since doing the truck and fallen in love with going glossy with using TopCoat. It's worth the extra $ unless you just want the satin/flat look

WoW! You are a Plasti-Dip Pro! The Busa looks amazing! I really like the Top Coat look too. Thanks for getting back to me on this. Good to hear that the WRaptor was holding up well. Enjoy. Looking forward to more of your posts. BTW, are you going to get another Raptor?

I've got a few dips under my belt, loll. Thanks I appreciate it! I definitely intend on getting another Raptor, gen 2, in a couple years. I bought a 00 WS6 to daily drive over the next few years so I can focus on purchasing and building my childhood dream of owning a "kit" car. If ever board, definitely recommend checking out Superlite SLC and you'll see why I sold the truck (although miss the comfort and look of the Raptor alot)

What wheels are those? Look similar to mine, did you dip those as well?

It was all thanks to your thread on these wheels a couple of years ago that I got mine. :) They're the perfect I always regretted not going with 18's like you did though. A few months before I sold the truck, I actually bought a electric lime green wheel kit to dip the wheels to be wild, but never went through with it.

Awesome job, Brother! Love what you did to your rig. The only thing I would change would be the wheel flares. I like them black, but that's just me. Also, is that your air conditioning unit for your barn behind your busa? I need one of those.....

Thanks man! On page 2 there's some pictures with the fender flares dipped black. I dipped them about a week after I did the entire truck, but honestly I kinda wished I'd left them blue. Not sure why, I guess personal preference.

Man, I really wish I had AC in my shop. The thing behind the busa is a evap cooler. Basically a waterfall over what looks like a filter and the fan blows over it and puts cool air out. Well worth the $, the only downside is with all the doors closed, it makes it extremely humid in there after a while.
