I'm wondering if anyone has used the combination bottle jack and jack stand called a Unijack? I'm looking to add a jack in addition to my Hi-lift for offroad. I have a 3-ton aluminum harbor freight floor jack but that thing is a beast... It's heavy and takes up a lot of room. I've looked at the 1-1/2 ton HF racing floor jack with a skid plate (the one that has the highest lifting height of their several 1-1/2 ton models). The Unijack looks light and compact with a 3-ton capacity and the safety of a jack stand, with a 21" lift height... And it's inexpensive. I already pack a jack stand, so I'd swap it out for the Unijack and not take up much more space.... Anyone have experience with it?

I have one of these, but haven't used it on the raptor yet. I can say it works great, though. I've used it on my boat trailer and on my previous FX4.

I've never seen one in person before. Looks interesting. Gets some mixed reviews on quality, though. Sounds like some of them leak. But those issues may be cleared up now.

Have it, use it, love it. Also works great on my Jeep, that runs 35's. The saddle that goes against the axle is much smaller than a floor jack lift pad, allowing it to fit better. Also does not roll/move around like a floor jack.

I made a couple different types of pads for my floor jack, so I can go on the axle, or a deep cup for the diff, or a pad just big enough to fit under the front diff/ crossmember...All so I feel safer under my truck when I dont have jack stands.

As a garage jack or trail off-road jack?

Having it sit 11" tall might be an issue getting it under your truck on the trail depending on the situation. A jack and skid doesn't need much room.

I hadnt seen that before. Looks like a great idea for a shop jack for quick tire changes, IWE's, etc. over a floor jack & stands. Problem I see on the trail is your lying in the dirt or mud to get it positioned right unless you modify the bottom plate. Keep us posted.
