good luck with the SLC, they are awesome cars.

why the LS? last SLC I saw had a coyote motor in it, very cool combination.

It's more of a personal preference. I've owned a couple LS1 and couple LS2 vehicles so I'm familiar with them. I also have the option to do maybe a LS7 when the time comes.

I'm envious, I can't wait to see one in person. I'd guess it's even more impressive. Plan on making a trip to see their facility before the end of the year as well, may end up ordering the car while I'm up there too. It's 20 miles outside of Detroit, so hopefully I'll find some cool auto stuff to see while there. One thing I'll try to do is visit the Viper factory. :)

So far I have a valid use for a truck twice since I sold it. Had to borrow a vehicle to pick up the new tool box and a big evap cooler. I've been in the middle of building a trailer for a few months, I need to finish it so least I can use wife's SUV to pull and haul stuff. While I enjoy being back in a Trans Am, I miss the roomy interior, smooth ride and most of all the looks of the Raptor.

nice truck, got to sell mine soon too as we plan to rv full time across the states. i know im going to miss it with all the time put into mods, but that gen2 down the line is calling me also. the transmission, gas, weight, and power increases are starting to appeal to me more even though i like the gen1 look a lot more.

Thanks. I can't wait till I see a Gen2 in person, I personally like the looks and all the additional upgrades. Not crazy about the V6 TT but will love the power and can't wait to see what it does with a tune!

It does suck and I miss having a truck, but it allows me to start a SLC much sooner. Also since the Gen1 is fixing to be an old model so to speak, price may drop on them so selling before then maybe I got a few more $.

Good luck; I think having a Raptor if you live in Louisiana would be perfect right about now. Stay safe.

Man you're not kidding! And insult to injury is wife's cars wiper linkage had a bushing fail.... So since truck is gone, she's driving the WS6 and I'm on the busa. I missed the rain to/from work today at least

I actually did the opposite, I sold a firehawk to get the raptor. Well sold my firehawk, bought a F250, put a lift on it etc. then sold the F250 and got my raptor. Firehawk was fun, forged 408 with a F1C procharger, proshifted 6spd, built rear, suspension galore, massive fuel system. 1000RWHP. CCW wheels. Immaculate condition. Should have never sold it b/c it was perfect. But you know, we all do dumb shit...

Haha, I had a hawk too..mostly stock, lowered and widened factory rear wheels to 11". Did the same already to WS6. Made full circle and back in one. Firehawk, Trailblazer SS, GTO, Raptor, WS6. Next vehicle will be another Raptor.
