    Front end pulse

Used a listening device and a vibration locator while driving the truck. The tech said the failure was easy to spot once the truck was on a lift.

Check the front differential pinion bearing. I had all the same issues in this thread and the issue was resolved when the front differential was rebuilt. 23 EB truck with 10k miles

    Gen 3 & R Front Differentials Grenading

T Not this issue specifically but the front differential pinion failure truck is mine. It didn’t grenade but failed with 14k miles. The issue started way before 14k. Truck is a EB 23 model.

    Play in Driveshafts?

This vibration used to be a slight vibration. It was this way for several thousand miles but recently has gotten worse. When the truck is cold the vibration will rattle dash trim pieces, this level of intensity is new. I think the oil leak is a newer issue. Early on with this issue 4A would...

    Play in Driveshafts?

I have this same vibration issue in my 23 truck. It has been diagnosed at a front pinion bearing failure requiring a full rebuild of the front differential. I also have what I consider excessive play in the front driveshaft at the transfer case and the input seal on the transfer case is leaking.

Vibrations in driveline as a result of aftermarket springs.

The pinion seal is not leaking much. The seal on the transfer case is.

Vibrations in driveline as a result of aftermarket springs.

It’s nice to have a dealership with knowledgeable techs. The first dealer I worked with was a joke. Just found out what the source of the vibration is. The pinion bearing on the front differential has failed. Not sure of the cause of the failure but that’s the source. A full rebuild is needed...

Vibrations in driveline as a result of aftermarket springs.

The springs have been on the truck for almost 11k miles. Installation was done at a reputable off road shop here in DFW. Alignment was done at the dealer after the installation. Really don’t think the springs have anything to do with the issue.

Vibrations in driveline as a result of aftermarket springs.

The tires have been moved around. All the tires have been road force balanced. The spare was even swapped for a suspect problem tire. Rear springs are now factory springs. The vibration is still present. As the vehicle speed increases the vibration increases in frequency but does not increase...
