Looking around to see if anyone on here has a bassani y-pipe, or any pipe at all for that matter for our trucks. I've seen some guys make custom y-pipes and maybe now have them laying around and would be willing to part with. Catted or un-catted.
Thanks y'all!
I appreciate that!!! The rear-end is "All Done" and runs like she's brand new, because it practically is haha. I obtained a ford performance diff cover, like the idea of a gasket and the ability to fill to a higher level.
Locked up because of the rear end pumpkin bolts coming loose, see beginning pics.
Hahah nooo, I meant in turn as a phrase, like due to the locking up, the T-case broke
If something like this ever happens to anyone reading, CHECK YOUR TRANSFER CASE!!!!
A month after getting the truck back, case split in two, most likely from the rear end locking up and in turn messing up the case... On to a new case..
Its been fully rebuilt.
Axles-Moser customs axles, couldn't for the life of me find an OEM axle, or even a Yukon replacement ($440)
Pumpkin-yukon 34 spline, again, nearly all raptor specific OEM parts are going to be nearly impossible to find. ($750)
As for everything else, bearings seals and...
Awesome build, Question for you, did you notice any difference in the steering feel after the SVC tie rods? I heard people say they stiffen up the feel, in a good way but find it hard to believe a tie rod end will do that, thanks!
I completely agree, as well as the top left bolt, the right top and bottom were finger loose, so for anyone reading this thread a check over of those bolts and proper torque down of them wouldn't hurt. Axles Seem okay, but i'm replacing everything between the two axles, as well as the axle...
That will most likely be my best route, looking to be about 3k for a used rear end, with used internals, parts, etc. Think i'd be better off rebuilding mine.
What have you found on car part, the entire reared? If so would you guys suggest a swap and forget about it or a complete rebuild of the car-part reared, thanks!
