Reading that the Mickey Thompson 35s (35x12.50 and 315/70 are the same advertised OD are actually 34" and a half inch under the advertised 34.5" OD... Which has me thinking if the 37"s are closer to 36" and would be able to run on a stock setup...
I hear good things all the time about the Grapplers but every time I see a set they look hideous. I don’t know what it is, maybe just too boxy and they look like Mexican off sets on our truck.
Well I'm still hunting. Between the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss M/T, General Grabber X3 in 35x12.5 (Red Letter, I love the look), and the Falken Wildpeak. Probably go with the 35x12.5 in whatever I choose this time around.
That's my thought as well. Looks like something I would have on a FX4 for a street tire, but not sure it fits the "look" I want on the Raptor. I'm sure it's an excellent tire.
Thanks for all the feedback... Maybe I should consider the Falken's, but still think I'm leaning MT Baja Boss... The extra weight is a concern though.
I wish these bad boys were still available!
Around 47k miles on my 2020 OEM KO2s. Noticing a lot of traction issues in wet weather, even when not starting from a complete stop I'm spinning the tires with acceleration. Looking at these options (in order).
1. Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T or M/T (thoughts?)
2. Stick with OEM KO2 (C-S)
3...
I've been noticing for the past several months that if I sit idling after a few minutes it becomes a little rough and there is a shutter/shake that begins. It's fine for about 3-5 minutes and then kicks in. Anyone else have this?
So had the dealer fix the heating element under my extended warranty, but now the left side of my bottom seat cushion squeaks when it runs agains the plastic trim piece where the seat adjustment controls are. Anyone else have this issue? Anything I can do to stop this squeak? Happens over bumps...
