    Upgrades to improve towing capabilities?

Well the tires on my 22 Raptor are class C load rating or around 2300#/tire, they make the identical tire in a class E load rating or around 3100#\tire. Six ply vs ten ply old school or light truck vs heavy truck. I know there is probably a trade off with ride comfort but extra payload safety...

    Upgrades to improve towing capabilities?

My experience towing says keep your regular tow loads to about 60% of what you think max tow is or drive slow as turtle. Higher wind drag trailer will limit speeds and stability as well. Use tow/haul and set suspension to stiff. Also, for camper/toy hauler use load distribution hitch with...

    Disappointed...just a bit

Well to be honest, I thought my truck had everything but the 37” wheels option. It has heated cooled seats, sunroof, cameras all around, safety stuff, bed liner, tailgate step, etc, just don’t see rain sensing wipers but let’s be clear, I love this truck, ride, power, looks, it is the best of...

    Disappointed...just a bit

I love my Raptor but don’t think it has rain sensing wipers which all my other trucks had. Am I missing something? Pretty complete otherwise. Like adjustable suspension and exhaust.

    It’s just slow

I do agree, hurting the gas mileage with a 700hp truck is just not practical for many that daily drive their raptors

First Sticky - Gen3 Owner Pics

Well, I have a Jeep Willys for offroad because trails are just too tight and overgrown for a Raptor where I live, but I love the truck, ride, comfort, towing, power, sound. I bought from dealer who is a big Raptor fan and he had it optioned out the way he liked it, code orange, carbon fiber, Sun...

Ford Raptor R will have the 5.2L Predator v8!

Well I don’t need the Raptor R, but others might, it is a killer engine with potential for daily driving just go light on that throttle, but that will be very hard to do. Curious to see if they make any other changes

    Spare tire Delete/Removal.

Heck, it isn’t just race times, most of my other trucks handled better with less weight on rear, but they aren’t the new Raptor with link suspension. Too me the Raptor is too soft by one notch, I can get rid of a lot of body roll without hurting ride by setting suspension in stiffest setting. I...

    Spare tire Delete/Removal.

Yea, Murphy law is just too strong a factor here, so I won’t do it. But it is 100# and if drag race a similar truck, you will beat them by one or two car lenghts plus truck handles better and adds 100# to tongue weight for towing

    Spare tire Delete/Removal.

Has anyone tried running a Raptor with spare tire removed? I know it is risky for off Road but I love how a truck handles and rides after removal of all that weight on rear end. Noticeably faster as well. If taking trip I carry tire in bed or on trailer. Also carry tire plugs and fixaflat, but...

    It’s just slow

New on forum and very new to the Raptor but not new to Ford or the F150. Had two 5.0 and one ecoboost all ten speeds, my 2019 King Range ecoboost was great truck, and it would blister any truck I ever pulled up to, including my 5.0’s, it also towed great and torque seem to play a big part in its...

    Baja suspension setting

You sure about that, there is no warning on the suspension setting only on the Baja mode setting and I’m not running the mode setting in Baja, it is set to normal. Who mentioned a Prius?

    Baja suspension setting

I am new to Raptor but not to F150 and I always thought Raptor body roll was just too excessive. But my new code orange Raptor was just too pretty to pass up. I am running my Raptor mode with Baja suspension setting, Baja exhaust setting, k&n filter, and 91 octane. Pretty happy now and it...
