Well, Ford is now going to replace my Master Brake Cylinder and Booster under warranty. It will be nice to have a firm brake pedal when I start the car for the first time each day.
So I guess the idle speed comment makes me point out that this is something that is associated with just starting up and leaving in the car and it resolves itself after a short period of time.
Not much, but if you are right next to another car..... you really want it to stop.
This morning, early, cold, it was this same way for about 10 brake pushes before it finally cleared up. Almost like air in the line?
on about 5 or 6 occasions my brake pedals have felt very strange, went down further than normal, felt funny "vibrations" through the pedal and I was concerned about stopping power. This has always been at idle speeds.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Thanks

make sure you have the latest instructions and look through this thread as I think there are some pictures. The instructions have improved but still lack some detail. I think there is another thread with some useful info as well.
Great product, weak instructions, a video would be...
If they would improve their installation instructions, perhaps even do a youtube video, it would be much easier. They must not read this forum as the instructions issue has been pointed out before.
I would also like the amber lights on my S8 to go on whenever the other amber running lights are on. I currently have them on a switch because I don't know where to tie them in.
It looks like your 30 inch S8 bar behind the grill is yellow. How did that happen? mine is white. Also your wide angle lights in the fog area are blue. Is that a cover?
thanks

S8 install notes
The first picture shows the flat bracket as it fits on the top of the grill. This is the right side of the car and shows where we routed our power line from the S8 up to meet the wiring coming from the power source.
We put the wire referred to in Step 10 behind the S8 light...
S8 light install behind grill - comments on instructions
Make sure you get the latest version of the instructions, they have improved
Step 3 is possibly the trickiest part, there are a number of “pins” securing the painted fascia piece around the headlight, some pictures of both sides...
Ironhorse, thanks for the picture of the brackets. Is the bracket on the right actually 2 brackets wired tied together? I am wondering what the piece on the left side is for....
Problems installing S8 bar behind grill
As I study the installation pictures further (I had to get the instructions online and blow them up to see the detail) I see that I must have the wrong brackets, they didn't include the wiring and instructions in the box either so it must have been a...
