Original owner. 30k miles. Almost half are out of state highway miles. Under full bumper to bumper warranty through the end of 2024 then 2 more years and up to 60K miles for the powertrain. I have all service records and will provide those to the buyer upon request. Fully paid off, no lien and I...
I had mine "repaired" by my local dealer last week following the TSB instructions and unfortunately I picked the truck up warm and it appeared the issue was resolved. Fast-forward to the following morning with the truck cold and it sounds exactly the same as it did prior to the "fix". I'm pretty...

Anyone have any updates? I get annoyed at Ford every single time I start my truck since they refuse to fix this broken piece of $h!+. If it wasn't for the terrible market and interest rates I probably would have gotten rid of the truck already.

I just got a follow up call from a Ford Customer Relations Supervisor who basically told me there is nothing else to do but wait for Ford to figure out a fix and I am welcome to file a complaint with the NHTSA
So frustrating. This is my first Ford that has been my primary driver and...
Wow. My experience from last week (and prior attempts to get this fixed) was identical and I was literally just about to post the same exact thing. It's making me consider just selling this thing while it's still worth more than I paid.
Once unplugged I'm pretty sure the valve will permanently remain in whatever state it was in when unplugged. Even in quiet mode I'm pretty sure it still opens the valve slightly upon hard acceleration so it's likely you just have a lot of back pressure in your exhaust due to the valve being...
Nope and I honestly don't care anymore. I've dealt with it long enough and it just needs to be fixed. If it breaks again, so be it. Ford will just waste more money fixing it again.
