No problems or complaints with the front bumps. I put several miles on htem off-road now and they have performed great. Fit and finish is still excellent as well. I even have a good picture of the front bumps about to do their job recently :)
Like all those who have gone with the Volant I am extremely happy with the sound. I had my local muffler guy remove the resonator and install a straight pipe. As before I cut the tip right after the axle and boy oh boy does it sound great.
Full throttle is loud and obnoxious like a V8 should...
I have a larger OEM trans cooler and on cold mornings it will take up to 20 miles on the highway before my transmission warms up. Around town it will take a lot longer to warm up.
Have you taken your Raptor out on the highway for a good long drive?
I am ordering the Volant 54387 right now and though I have read this thread a couple of times now I didn't realize @BIRDMAN had a SCAB. So I was worried about fitment on my SCREW. I'm glad I watched your video again and saw you have a SCREW as well.
So basically there should be no fitment...
I do several off-road events every year and I run a OEM P/S unit with a RPG PS Fluid reservoir, external cooler and I run Royal Purple Synthetic PS Fluid. I have 91k now on my current setup and I have had zero issues with the P/S pump. (I replaced my 1st P/S unit at 33k...) I still have the...
I really like my Forged Offroad bumper!
My bumper is their latest version and you can see the difference with their bumpers from the first one to mine in the picture you posted here...

There are no Raptor specific groups in Pismo or the Central Coast however several Raptor owners often meet at the dunes to hang out. With the dunes re-opening for day use on 10/30/20 its only a matter of time before everyone heads out :)
The Jerk Pirates Offroad & Recovery Group often have day...
Hill Descent uses the brakes heavily when used so you would most likely overheat the brakes even faster using Hill Descent down a long pass like Pikes Peak.
Lower gears would be the better option.
I haven't been to Pikes Peak recently, the last time I went the pass was still unpaved and I did...
Shine Supply Classy Chassis works great. The running boards will be black and stay that way for a few months... even after washing them or them getting wet.
So far the only time I've noticed them lose the blackish color is from dust going off-road.
I just got 6 Wildpeak AT3W tires and so far I am very happy with the tires. I've gone from KO to KO2 to another brand that was a sponsor for an old group to the Falken's and I will say the AT3W's are the quietest so far! Going out of town last weekend I was falling asleep the truck was so...
