    Wrinkles in leather - replace?

2023, new in October when I bought it, so not wear and tear. My 2012 seats did not exhibit any kind of wrinkle like these or the looseness in the linked thread.

    Wrinkles in leather - replace?

My driver seat has some wrinkles in the leather since I purchased it in Oct. I brought it up with the dealer at the time and they said they'd fix it... Never heard anything about it until today when the dealer called and said they had the seat cover ready to go. Question - do I replace it or...

    RAD Mounted Ratchet Straps

This is my similar solution... I discovered the black tie down rings have to mount behind the plate to bring the whole assembly out a tad. This allows the ratchet handle to press all the way in so that the recoil engages correctly.

    Backup Camera Visibility

I use the backup camera for backing into the garage, but when it's wet out the camera picks up a lot of water spray. The water drops really mess up the image rendering it fairly useless. Has anyone found a solution to keep it a bit clearer?

Any mountain bikers? Post your travel setup

Awesome trailer @Warpath! In my Airstream forum research, the most recommended bike rack is the one Airstream sells - Fiamma. Lots of comments similar to Wheelman55's about regular racks failing...

    Rear Middle Headrest

Has anyone noticed how the rear middle headrest bumps out? My 10 y/o with or without a booster seat finds it pushes his head forward and isn't comfortable. I'd like to find a slimmer matching replacement if possible...

    Spare wheel lock

I corrected the part number on the OP... I apologize... I copied the one of the install sheet, but this is what I ordered: ML3Z-1543262-A Link

    Spare wheel lock

I'll answer anyway... My 2012 Gen 1 had the lock and it was key specific. On this new one, the case, cylinder and locking levers are metal. The cover, tumblers and key shutter are stainless steel while the cap is plastic (looks like the one removed). It was $98 on OEM Ford parts.

    Spare wheel lock

I don't know to be honest. I just like to tinker.

    Spare wheel lock

Since Ford omitted it, I purchased the spare wheel lock ML3Z-1543262-A (corrected) from Ford OEM Parts Online. If it comes down to it, I'm hoping it slows a thief down enough to leave my truck alone. It comes with a set of tumblers so you can match it to your key which is cool. Determining...

Rubber around interior driver door jam rattles….

My Gen 1 developed a door rattle too - it turned out to be the door seals. My fix was to use Gummi Pflege! When I get around to it, I'll preemptively treat my new door seals with this too.

    Roof Spoiler

Thanks for the video @HighwaySentinel - I need to up my search game! Like I said, a curiosity is all. But, nope.

    Roof Spoiler

I've no plan on installing this roof spoiler, but it is a curiosity.... https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/accessories/other-accessories/rear-spoiler-kit-13285807-1?pdp=y

    Mud Flaps - should I / should I not?

I used the factory screws on the front and went with the supplied clips and screws (i think these are stainless) on the rear. The drilling is a pretty minor event and I doubt anyone would notice the hole if the flaps were ever removed. I used a little bit of plasti-dip to cover over the screw...
