Did you de-activate auto start stop via Forscan? It deactivated the active battery management, which uses the sensor attached to the battery. This is why it is recommended that you attach accessories to the battery after the sensor (so it doesn’t mess up readings). Just a guess though.

Sometimes the dealer has the car you want and the price is right. Everything else being “standard” is wishful thinking. An implied warranty that the car runs safely is probably all you’re going to get from the dealer and that’s only because it’s the law in most states.
