Just ordered an Intercooler, Icon leafs, geiser springs, svc Baja front bumper, rigid SR-L light, RCI bed rack and should be picking up a used ADD bolt on rear bumper soon
Thank you guys for all the post. Will definitely be going with icons at option 3 over the dealers. I start my day with 1,000 pounds in the bed and it goes down from there (Detailer with a water tank). 35k miles later my stock springs are not happy who would have guessed lmao
@JohnyPython motul is amazing. Use that for everything else, but stick to rotella for the engine oil since it gets pricey when you do change it as often as I do and it’s easier to find.
if you don’t mind it, Motul all the way
@FordTechOne None the less you still the oil going through the hot turbo. I can try to find my Blackstone lab samples from my Subaru. I used factory oil, Mobil one, royal purple and rotella. All but the rotella failed on the viscosity.
I do drive my cars quite hard though I should note hence the...
The reason being that retains its viscosity much better compared to other oils and it being a weight heavier to begin with. So after some use it will loose some of its viscosity and be closer to a 5w-30 weight compared to a 5w-30 oil breaking down and being more like a 5w-20 oil. All oils loose...
I use rotella T6 and do it every 3k miles, if I’m lazy it’ll make it to 4k miles. I wouldn’t push it past 6k-7k miles on any oil change no matter the vehicle. Oil just loses to much viscosity at that point for me to feel comfortable running it.
Pure Turbos said they are just about done tunning their 750hp turbos. They also said the driveline is perfectly happy, they are having no issues with the driveline or motor.
@BushwiickBill I’m running the jb4 on my truck and have been for about 5k miles I think. Love it so far and how easily it is to change maps. My truck did a 13.3 @100mph at the track on map 7 with an e25 mix. Easily has a 13.2 in it. Truck is stock besides the jb4, will soon be adding downpipes...
Yup map 7 @GCATX just spoke with the people at my dealer and they’re cool with me if I mod the truck and keeping my warranty (within reason obviously). I’ll be doing inlets, downpipes, adaptors and a **** kit. Possibly a bigger fuel pump to run e50 and I think that would be plenty for stock...
Last night for drag racing this year, took the truck out and it did a best of 13.329 with a bad 60 foot, it easily has a 13.2x in it. Truck is stock beside the Jb4 and about an e25 mix. Track is Sonoma Raceway/Sears Point. 12’s will be no problem with a few bolt ons.
Also the jb4 is running...
I also towed a 1965 mustang on a U-Haul Trailer (although no where near as long as @Gary M Gere ). The truck was unbothered by it so much so I don’t think the extra 1,600 pounds from your Chrysler would be to much of a concern if at all.
