Typically would not recommend moulded concrete as shoring. It is not structural and susceptible to shattering under a pinpoint load, such as that it might experience at the hard metal edge of a jack stand. A fresh 2x6 or 2x10 would actually be better in your
application.
It is 100% okay to...
Its not a bad thought process, but we have an automatic tranny...can't imagine the flywheel is very heavy to begin with. Any weight savings might be on the order of grams up to perhaps a few pounds. Granted, drive-train weight (including the weight of the tires/wheels) has a higher penalty...
I can't imagine a lighter flywheel would help much. I ran 37s on my '14. I loved my 37s at first, but nearly every aspect of the behind-the-wheel feel changed at least slightly. There was noticeably less off-the-line power, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. If it were just this, I could have...
lol... Indeed, the world sure would be dull if both our trucks and opinions were all the same.
This reminds me of a young adult novel about a dystopia: The Giver, by Lois Lowery. A good, quick read for anyone looking for something to do during these strange times. The setting of the story is...
If the Gen 2's are anything like Gen 1's, the paint on the bumper and flares just about rubs off. If my Gen 2 starts to do that, I'll definitely go for the Line-x.
I'd planned to Line-x my '14 Raptor. It was Tuxedo black and I never liked the gray flares and bumpers against the heavy greenish...

Likewise, there are only two appropriate responses to this post: "like" and incorrect.
Not sure about your "other major life things," but the economy will rebound and with a vengeance.
I am encouraged how well bitter political rivals seem to be coming together for the most part. Ilian Omar actually gave Donald Trump a full-throated compliment.... praising his leadership and...
Good observation. After reading other post from the OP, you might be right.
The only thing worse than mean people are trolls.

I was using intuition, not logic. I absolutely have not done the work necessary to construct an logical argument. I was only expressing my skepticism at was has only been anecdotal evidence designed to appeal to our natural inclination to "believe" or "feel" that a successful argument as been...
You definitely don't want to do that. A good part of what accumulates in that can is not oil, but moisture and combustion by product. Agree or disagree on the necessity of the catch can, but I think we can all agree that you don't want that residue going back into the crankcase.

I can't disagree with any of your points....save perhaps for the drastic differences between consumer vehicles and race vehicles.
Weather snake oil or not, I am grateful for the vibrant aftermarket that these trucks attract. And I appreciate folks like you on this forum humoring schlubs like...
I didn't reveal to you any of my "logic". I assure you, it goes much deeper than I'm prepared to go into on this forum.
I don't pretend to know what motivates the EPA. But I do know that burning fossil fuels is at or near the top of a list of environmental concerns.
I'll also concede the...
