The ride and handling of the UTV springs beats the stock ones on every perch setting. You won't be disappointed at all if that is your primary goal.
I haven't noticed any degradation in ride quality during the time I've had the springs on my truck. I can't comment on the other poster's...
I've had them on a month, and they have not settled at all since installation. The ride feels the same as well.
I am extremely happy with how they perform and feel, but I'm starting to have some serious misgivings about the actual ride height they provide. It is no where near what UTV claims.
Mine have actually sat like that since I put them on, while it seems some others have taken longer to get to that point. In UTV's pictures, the bottom two coils touch.
It appears that after these springs settle they only lift the suspension about half of what the manufacturer claims and you are...
Actually, the link I posted is a direct link to my post about my impressions on the UTV springs vs mid-perch.
Of course, it wouldn't hurt to read the whole thread. :specialed:
I feel a bit better now. What year is your truck?
As far as the front shocks, I don't think you can compress them with just your body weight. Mine were very stiff as well.
I know. My issue is that after a winter of salt spray, that little screw can get jammed in there pretty good even after hitting it with some PB Blaser. Being so small, it is easy to strip if you have to put some force on it. I think the person that did my mid-perch prior may have cranked it down...
I wound up just drilling out the screw. Whoever decided it was a good idea to use such a small screw for this application needs to get knocked out.
With the new springs on the bottom perch setting, my truck currently sits at approximately 41.5 inches (ground to center of fender) with a full...
I got about 3/4 of the way into installing these today. I am going from mid-perch with stock springs to bottom perch with the progressive springs. Unfortunately, the set screw for the spring collar stripped on the last strut. Does anyone know any easy way to get it out?
I'll post up my...
That really sucks. I hope you are able to get some form of restitution. I try to avoid any of these large trucks like the plague. Too many of them these days couldn't care less about the people they share the road with.
In hindsight, you should have called the police immediately so you could...
