Had a 18, now have a 19. Long story, but my 18 had that issue. Replaced the valve thing, went back to factory tune, tried some of the other stuff mentioned in the thread, but never got the noise to go away. My 19 doesn't make the noise.... yet. ;)
I park under a lift daily. Just go slow. I look for landmarks around me. There's a hook on the wall, and when it's just in sight out of my passenger window I'm in. I have less clearance with the four posts of the lift, but I retract the mirrors. Big vehicles are a pita no matter what you...
What short antenna is everyone using. On my last raptor I had the one that looks like a 50 cal. The reception was junk. I’m just looking for something a little shorter than stock. I park under a car lift, and the antenna hitting it is super annoying. So, I’ve gotta do something.
Thank you
Bob
One of the things I didn’t do on my last raptor was add a bed mat. I’ve had them in every other truck I’ve owned. Just a rubber one. And it’s amazing how little things slide around when you have one. Anyway, I ordered one for a F-150, and it didn’t fit. Is the bed the same, or did they send me...
So, I just traded in my 18 for a 19. Had it for all of 18 months. Both have the top tech package, and pretty much everything else is the same. Dealer reached out to me and I just couldn't resist. In my mind I was just buying time until the v8 special edition, or the ram with the hellcat...
I did a cheap muffler delete with a cross pipe. Can't remember which one, but no matter what you do, these trucks sound like crap. At least I can hear the exhaust now though. I also liked the stock tailpipes, and since no matter what you spend you are not doing much for performance or sound...
I took my pedal commander off after my MPT tune. Pedal commander dialed up isn't something I'd like to try in a small parking lot, but I don't think it does much for overall performance, just feel.
