It happens
Mine fell off in my hand at the gas station once. The tabs that lock it into place are not very strong. Defiantly one of those things I've learned to check at every fill-up.
mounting bolts
It didn't occur to me at the time, but while checking all my bolts the other day it hit me. This bumper was special made for the ford Raptor, so why is it that only two of the four mounting bolt holes line up?
Damn, you went to all that trouble for a few electrical problems? All I had to do was get my dam key wet. I could understand the remote buttons on it not responding, but the next day the PAT's chip wouldn't let me start the truck.
Totally grounded by a wet ignition key.
Thankfully it all...
West central Georgia here, but i would be interested in something closer than Texas or New York. Just a matter of finding a big enough place to pull it off.
Looks almost like the mounting setup i did on my train horns.
Immature? Yes. Fun? Oh Hell yea. When you can make all those little rug rats that never want to get out of the road dive for the closest ditch, it's all worth while.:happy175:
Well, problem solved. Thanks for sending out the new plate ADD. But in the process, i ,managed to scratch up the top plate on my bumper a bit.
You guys wouldn't happen to have any nice ADD stickers i could slap over that would you?? You know, For advertising purposes. Everyone always...
A stronger plate might stop it from bending, but then the next link would be the lower bumper tubes. with enough pressure, something has to be the weak spot.
Maybe a bolt in plate that would be easier to change out when you damage it.
