Where are you guys mounting your radios?

I put the radio on a Builtright panel on the dash for my Gen2, but on my Gen3, I'm planning on fabricating something similar to this for the center console. I run an Anytone AT-D578UVIII, which doesn't have many aftermarket mounting options, nor a decent non-bluetooth remote faceplate. This is...

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Hell yeah. Picked it up in Coalville on Friday, and spent the weekend shaking it down. Great folks, and they designed a hell of a trailer here.

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Picked up my new trailer and spent the weekend camping through Utah, Idaho, Oregon, and ended up home in Seattle. Besides a few hiccups in the tow module on the Raptor, things moved without any issues! The Ecoboost does a great job hauling the 2,300lbs trailer up mountain passes without breaking...

    Performance/Suspension Shops Oregon and Washington?

I'm a big fan of Khaotik 4x4 in Tacoma. They've done plenty of work on my '17 SCREW and they're awesome folks. Ask for Jason, the shop manager.

    Rain Sensing Wiper Speed

Rad, thanks! I'll have to give it a shot and see if it helps.

    Rain Sensing Wiper Speed

Does this also disable the rain sensing? Or does it only disable the variable speed for the wipers, and leave the rain sensing intact?

    Rain Sensing Wiper Speed

Hey folks! I've got a sort of question regarding the rain sensing wipers on my '17 Screw. I live in Seattle, where it's an omnipresent drizzle from around October to May every year. I've noticed that even in light drizzle, the rain-sensing wipers start going crazy fast even when set to the...

    Emergency Travel Kits

A few key things that aren't fully covered in the thread linked above. For any sort of first aid or medical, make sure that you a) know how to use every single thing you pack into the kit, and b) you build the kit yourself. It's fine to buy a kit, but take it apart completely and reassemble it...

2017 lurching in and out of 8th gear after long drive cycle

I have the same question - I would certainly know if I intentionally installed a tune, and I find it very hard to believe that an aftermarket shop would install a tune without telling me.

GEN 2 Brake issue can become Steering issues...

Believe it or not, it was the OBDII harness and wiring pigtail that goes into the main wiring harness of the truck. It was starting to fail and was shorting out, sending cascading failures through multiple systems. That combined with a faulty steering column control module meant that everything...

2017 lurching in and out of 8th gear after long drive cycle

On the other hand, this gave me the plausible excuse to my partner so I can get the Mishimoto transmission cooler, so that's on order from SDHQ for installation this fall haha

2017 lurching in and out of 8th gear after long drive cycle

Yeah, that's my thought too. It was somewhat surprising in this situation. In my past experiences with this same dealer, they were curious about the various mods at worst, and more often were enthusiastic about them.

2017 lurching in and out of 8th gear after long drive cycle

So I just picked my truck up from the dealership, having provided them all these details. They flashed the TCM, but gave me a *very* hard time about the modifications I've made to the truck. Specifically, they called out the ADD intercooler I installed, claiming that it is blocking the...

Putco Molle Cab Panel with. Builtright side panels?

Yep, that's exactly what I have set up. Full Builtright side panels plus the Putco front bulkhead panel. Works like they were built for each other.

Review: Eibach Front Springs with Deaver +4HD Leafs

I'm sure it's a little of column A, little of column B. Certainly the frame and other parts of the truck affect the overall GVWR, but I have a hunch that the stock suspension is the weakest link in the chain.
