Yes, my extended warranty (National Auto Care - Pinnacle coverage ) does cover shocks. Now the issue may be trying to get the Dealership to duplicate or recognize the issue.
OK update: After dealership visit yesterday the battery tested what they consider "Good" at 594 of 800 cranking amps. I had asked if they would go ahead and replace the battery anyway. They came back with "we do not have any in stock and it will be two weeks before we get any new in". WTF don't...
Thanks for the responses! I have an oil change appt. with the dealership today so I will ask them to also diagnose this issue. I had watched that video and was careful on how the charge cables are attached. I did not however do a BMS reset. Tried the new key fob battery with no luck.
When the truck (2021) is parked a bit the parking and other lights (not headlights) come on when I approach the truck with the key fob as it should. When it’s been parked a lot longer, say a day or two, lights don’t come on when I approach. I also just once got a notification "system off to save...
That was great Ford came back and covered most of it! Curious, was your truck out of warranty? I did buy an expensive extended warranty (not Fords) when I purchased the truck. Maybe that will cover it? Worth trying anyway. Another thing I was wondering was if I did the shock rebuild exchange...
OK here's my story... I recently bought a 21 (build date 9/30/21) last year June 2023 with 32K miles after totaling my 2020. I love this truck mainly because of the improved interior and the 5link suspension. Having driven it now for more than 6 months I was always under the impression the...
After totaling my 2020 I went with 2021 and I feel the suspension and infotainment were the best upgrades. However I liked the front end Gen 2 looks better.
Been running with 87 on both my previous 2020 and now 2021 for more than 30K miles and only use 91+ when towing. Have not melted any seals and never hear any knocking.
Had Ridge Grapplers on my 2020 and like them better than the KO2's on my 2021 now. The KO2's are sh** in the mud. Wheel'n in Colorado and Cloudcroft NM forest roads the KO2's can't get rid of the mud. Have Falken Wildpeak M/T on my Rubi XR and really like them.
Yeah my 21 does not have the auto start/stop but has everything else. Had a 2020 802A I bought in 2021 for 66K and totaled it March of this year. Insurance paid me 70K for it so I bought a 21 for 72K with 30K miles. I think the 5 link rear suspension was a much improved feature. Absolutely love...
