I hired a keysmith too cut and program the chip and fob. Went just fine when he did it. A week later had my friend turn it on, on the bcm using forscan.
So the battery was from 2018, decided either way its time for a new one. Got a new battery installed, and drum roll pleasssseee!...... nothing changed... oof..... I give up.
Same here, and agreed, kind of stupid Ford has a higher performance truck, but doesn't include a volt meter gauge, but has two transmission temp gauges instead.
I'm trying to keep ya guys updated! But works been whooping my ass this week, im gonna try my cars new battery this weekend hopefully and see that works!
I tried that already, and I also just unplugged it and put a jumper wire in place, didn't work but I know my alarm does now lmao! Pulled the jumper out without unlocking the truck by accident
I mightve found the issue, used my edge monitor too look at my battery voltage key on engine off, sitting around 11.9v. I know key on the voltage will drop a little so guesstimate 12.1-12.2 with everything off. I have a new battery in one of my projects, ill drop that one in after work and see...
I actually have not checked my battery yet, it's been starting fine so I just haven't thought about checking it. Could be a possible though, I got it too remote start this morning when it was a little cooler. I'll put a volt meter too it tomorrow.
I dont even know what fuse too look at lol. I have the morimoto headlights that came with a DRL harness, basically just a fuse tap, think maybe that could be the issue? (Although not sure because it remote started this morning!)
