I don't think the gloss looks bad. I had my front bumper done on my Gen2 in gloss and liked it. To each their own. I do the same... I know, to some a waste of money. But for me, piece of mind for big chips. That's just me.

I had a Revolver on another truck and went back to the X4S on the new Raptor... The revolver seemed a little flimsy and wasn't as water tight as the X4S. I did like that I could see out the back with the Revolver though... Plus it did sit more flush than the X4S. Both good covers.

A friend had success with his dealer pulling a part from a vehicle on the lot, since his part was on BO. Not sure if that part is shared with other F150's though... may be worth an ask.
