I've ran the gamut with tires. Toyo/Nitto ATs, Toyo/Nitto MTs, Toyo/Nitto RT/RGs..... I'de take the AT3 XLTs over any of them. Its tough to beat the looks of a Toyo MT but the coopers are a nice balance of aggressive and street friendly for us who daily drive our trucks.
The only unfair...
For what its worth, I put gen1 timbrens on my gen2. They are shorter and allow for more travel before engaging the stops. You'll have a bit more sag when loaded up but at the same time you'll preserve more of your suspension travel.
If the truck is mostly stock and doesnt look abused, 55k seems like a very fair price for a loaded '19.
What stresses you out more - the idea of spending an extra 5-10k to get the new truck, or always thinking about what the previous owner may have done with the used one? I'de go with whatever...
Can someone with a stock, unloaded gen2 SCREW grab a suspension dimension for me? I'm looking for the measurement from the top of the rear block peg to the bottom of the frame rail (this is a bump stop distance question and my truck isnt stock). I think its around 6-3/4" but looking to verify...
Wait.... so you have them permanently installed, but they dont affect the rear suspension travel when not in use? Sounds too good to be true but you have my attention....
Can you point me in the right direction on those threads?
I signed an offer on the boat today without a trailer (contingent on formal inspection and sea trial). We have a local trailer builder with a good rep that I'll likely reach out to so we can get a custom trailer built to control tongue weight without getting fancy.
I'll look into the roadmaster...
Alright FRF... I need some opinions from those who have hauled close to max payload and/or weight behind their trucks. I've had 7k behind my truck in the form of an enclosed trailer with a WD hitch no sweat, but this is a different animal.
The boss (wife) and I are boat shopping. We're looking...
Im always right around 550 +/- 30 or so, depending on my commute traffic. 35 miles one way, half freeway, half stop and go traffic lights, flat florida roads, 93 octane.
my mpg dropped way down when i gave 87 octane a shot.
That depends what you consider a "wash". If you just want to pressure wash and walk away you can only expect them to get so clean (or any wheel for that matter). I have a $10 wheel brush (amazon) that makes quick work of them when I wash my truck.
Uship is the way to go. Its essentially like ebay, but reverse bid, and you can accept or deny any offers. Freelance hot shot haulers as well as big shipping companies will bid on your request. You can select enclosed or open shipment and specify pick up and drop off time ranges. My only...
I'll try to snag a video for you fellas today. I dont recall hearing these noises when I first bought the truck but if its normal, then its normal. It sure makes a lock of racket though. My experience is turbo diesel trucks though and they probably make enough engine noise by themselves that I...
