Cleave so far in the 3 years of owning my truck I've had two water pumps(one within the first month of buying it), a complete rear end, rear leafs, heated seats, rear shocks and now both rockers replaced under warranty. Up until now I had never had to fight for anything with my dealer.
Iown. That's how mine started, just keep an eye on them, they rot from the inside out. Still not sure how anything is getting back there but I'll be keeping a close eye on things when ford replaces my rockers and ill report back any findings for everyone to prevent this.
Ford is sending my dealer a complete rocker, which is the complete ring around the doors on the super cab and my dealer is going to cut what is needed from that rocker section.
Well finally got a glimmer of good news late last night. My dealership had decided to call the high ups on my situation and were told to submit the digital imaging and details of the situation for a warranty claim but with no guarantee of coverage. Well last night I got a call from my dealer to...

Going to see my local dealer tomorrow and I'm just to say out of factory warranty but have extended (hoping it makes a difference). I'll keep everyone informed as things progress.
So a few days ago I took my side steps off with the anticipation of getting my rocker panels Line-x'd due to some signs of rust on them from 3 years of off-road play and daily driving (I can't stand cancer on my vehicles). Today I got them sandblasted to have them shot tomorrow but that isn't...
Might be the wider/higher stance than most people are used of, matched with all the marker lights and amber rigids you might look like a semi in the distance.
If you pull it all apart it's one unit if yours is equipped with a sunroof (all three switches) if you don't have a sunroof I'm assuming its a stand alone switch
Have you driven thru any new asphalt lately? We have road heavy road repairs up here and when I avoid those areas I never get those little spots. But as soon as I drive anywhere near where its happening those spots appear. Can't say it's exactly that but that's just my experiences with...
