Hmmm... my 2019 has now on two occasions killed every mosquito for a 5 block area. Both times had driven for over an hour at highway speed then stopped and shut it off for 10 minutes or so then started up and drove off. Update: Got the cam phaser R&R last week--no more mid 90's Powerstroke diesel clattering for 2-3 seconds on startup. Interestingly enough the prolonged cranking issue seems to have stopped? Not sure why. Like my grandfather the old rancher used to say: "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth"...

Well--I joined the Cool Kids Club. Developed the cam phaser rattle in my '19 at 41k miles on cold start up about 4 weeks ago, then noticed it intermittently cranking longer on cold start. Took it to the dealer and they were cool. Ordered parts and put me in line. They have a 3-4 week wait for...

Still sounds like a hot rod tractor... just have to be satisfied with the smile on your face when you pull away from a 6.2L Chevy like they've missed a gear or something.

Update: I took the truck to a BFG/Michelin certified dealer and had the tires inspected to prove no damage and that they had been properly cared for (regularly rotated, inflated to specs, no abnormal wear) and then contacted BFG customer service. They are going warranty them and give me 40%...

For the same $$ just think I'll just keep my '19 Raptor and '13 Carrera S... and my '71 455 GTO... and my '60 Vette... and my '49 Willys street rod... and my '17 Tige' 23' wakeboat... and, well, you get the picture!

FYI--it was 6500 lbs not 9000, drove into a light rain from dry conditions when it happened. I'm 63 yrs old and have been driving pickups and towing my whole life and never had this happen. 2WD... I changed to 4A immediately after. Had driven in rain many times before and never had this problem. Now have had it twice in 3 weeks. First one really scared me--driving 70 mph pulling my boat (prob 6500 lbs) and the rear slipped and kicked out to the right, that made the boat trailer...

Thanks for all the replies. I really do want to maintain ride quality, a relatively quiet tread design and good load handling. Don't want a serious off road tread design but do need adequate off road capability on the rare occasion it is needed... besides, IMHO highway tread tires just look...

Forgot to add (for those interested... ), both times it happened I was going uphill and and slightly turning to the left--as the boost came up to maintain speed the tires broke loose.

My 2019 Raptor has about 36k miles now and the stock KO2's still have a good deal of tread left. I was satisfied with them until the last 3 weeks. Two times while driving in the rain they have broke traction and 'fishtailed' going down the highway. First time was while I was towing my 23' Tige'...
