I was recently in Alaska and passed a gen2 on the highway who had "Raptor" in place of the Ford in the grille. In the 2 second glancing pass @ 65MPH, I liked the look. I haven't been able to find anything like it online though. A big reason I went with the tailgate applique delete on my...
While I don't remember which fuse taps I ordered, the ones I had did require a bit of filing to ground down some plastic on the tap to actually fit into the fuse slot.
Also sporting a Blackvue, tapped into aux switch and fuse box. Mounted the rear camera just to the passenger side of center to not interfere with the sliding window. Very easy to tuck the wires under the headliner. Just pulled the bottom passenger kick panel near fuse box for easier access...
I have very similar problems with my 2017. Have had it into the dealer 4 times (aligned with other recalls) and the fix is always to clear the adaptive transmission learning tables. Drives great for 6 months and then goes downhill again. I haven't gone down the path of getting/learning...
Thanks for the feedback - it is indeed the glass motors upon entry / exit. That is when I typically hit the fold out button and in my mind they were related.
Looks like I'll be looking for a friend with IDS as the dealer was firm on the update not applying and 'Ford' not likely to approve...
I have the occasional mirror clicking / ratcheting when the mirrors fold out that I've seen previously discussed. The dealer is telling me SSM 49217 only applies to regular F150s and not the Raptor. This is after they said Ford wouldn't do anything under warranty as I have (cosmetic) damage...
Mine a few posts up is also a 2800bh (2019). Recognize we are pushing payload. But I do let the kids, wife, and dog come along in the truck. About 10k miles towing now. All stock suspension. Congrats - we've loved our grand design.
I have a 2017 Gen2 that I tow a 32' travel trailer with. I knowing I'm pushing the payload capacity (800lb TW), but with the WD hitch properly dialed in I only get about an inch of squat (OEM suspension, 10k+ miles towing).
For Android users, I have been using one of these for a few months and it has been stable/solid after the initial software update:. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/aawireless

Towing around Texas, hills not mountains. Tows well IMO for being at the limits when the trailer is loaded. Only sway issues I've had was bringing it home after purchase. Dialed...
First time around TSB#18-2774 was applied and TSB# 18-2079 the most recent visit.
I also experience the hard shifts to drive (typically when reversing out of the garage in the morning, cold trans temp)
Same experience here -- 2017 with hard downshifts from 4th to 3rd within 6 months of a "relearn". I have had it in 3 different times with no real improvement. I've been delaying taking it back in as it seems nothing available beyond a temporary fix that normally takes the local dealer at...
I'm towing a 32' 2800BH Grand Design travel trailer. Properly dialed in WDH is a must. I was a little worried on my initial drive home as the truck didn't feel as planted on the road as I would like (sway with passing semis). Working on the WDH and getting a bit more tounge weight on the...
