    Lug Nut Swellinb

All Fords with these dumb capped lugs do it. I just had to deal with a 2014 base F150. Hammer on socket, break lug nut loose, leave nut on stud while you fight and wiggle the socket off. repeat 23 more times. Ironically, i never knew it was considered swelling, probably from galvanic...

Wastegate noise 2019. What is the fix?

So mine seem to be rattling as well, audible for the first 15-25 seconds of cold start. I just found this TSB, I havent found one before: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10171858-0001.pdf it says it only applies to the 2017 f150 though, and i cant find a comment on '18 or '19. Not...

GEN 2 I rip off rear fox shock at 40 m/h

Wow someone hit something hard. My opinion, with a bodyshop background - something struck the wheel/axle and pulled it rearward, ripping things apart. If it was *Only* a failed weld at the axle, the upper mount would be find. But that upper mount/bolt was ripped rearward HARD. Sorry dude...

    Any Help with these codes

Any update on how they did? I've had the same VCT solenoid once or twice, and may have the cam phaser noise as well. I'm really nervous having another mechanic under my hood though :/

    Any replacement intercooler regrets?

So over the years, I have done some mods on vehicles that seem like a good idea at the time, but soon became big regrets. Having said that, I've got the mod bug again for my Raptor. Being in Hot n Humid Florida, a Cobb or CVF FMIC seems like the next natural step. Anyone have any bad...

Eibach leveling kit not quite a leveling kit?

Yes, peoples results vary, but for 17 and 18, the eibachs lift too high, and lift the 19's perfectly level. It bugged me at first, but now I prefer the raked look, you may get use to it. General consensus that I've seen is any lift blocks are a hard no, and only way to fix the back is leafs...

Anyone have the 801A that regrets not getting the 802A?

I had buyers remorse a few years ago when we sold our fully loaded '10 lexus es for a '15 Toyota Sequoia Limited (mid tier - leather, navi, but missing other things). I didn't think i would care at the time, but not having memory seats quickly became annoying. And in FL, quickly missed vented...

    Peeling paint on windshield pillar

Body shop manager here. Full proper method for paint warranty: you always clear to the end of the panel - shops don't rip clear blends anymore because they don't last. Sucks, but doing it right would be remove windshield, bed, and rear upper cab corner trim (which i believe requires pulling...

Tailgate Applique (not what you think!)

I will add, when I took mine off many of the clips are accessible from the inside of the disassembled tailgate. I think i used a soft plastic wedge to maintain outward pressure, and worked from the inside-center out. I kept my gate mounted to the truck for stability. Remove topcap, inside...

    Burger Motorsports Catch Can

Ignore G(atekeeper)dog, not everyone needs an intro thread before searching and asking for assistance, that's gay. I can't attest to their specific CC, but burger stuff in general is always top notch, I wouldn't hesitate if your research led you to want one

    Steering Wheel Wear

Someone did post a beautiful interior that they gloss blacked all the grey texture paint. Ive been debating it, the gloss black trim in the wifies odyssey looks sweet, and I think I'd prefer slick gloss over the wierd texture they put on the center console, radio bezels and whatnot this is...
