There's a wait for parts so that's a definite deterrent.

2017-19 have cam phaser issues. I'd get a 2010 or 2020 or newer.

    First Moab Trip

No contest. I lived in Aurora for years and got out ASAP.

    First Moab Trip

I'm thinking of moving to Grand Junction this fall. Too wet and crowded in the PNW.

    First Moab Trip

I've been going to Moab since 93 and it never gets old. I took my Gen1 down last fall and finally got it up to speed on a desert 2 track. What a rush!

    Riding rough. Suspension question.

Also Raptors take a bit to get used to. Especially on asphalt/concrete. Go offroad ASAP.

    Riding rough. Suspension question.

Rebuild or replace shocks and then evaluate from there as long as the tires are still good.

Talked myself into a Gen 1

Nice buy! If I. Could've found a 14 I would've but love my 6.2 2010 SCAB. spend the $$ on the suspension and a SVC rear bumper and dovetail it. You won't regret it.

GEN 2 Sold my Raptor and couldn’t be happier

I bought my Gen1 because I didn't trust the Ecoboost 3 years ago. I'd buy a Gen3 or Raptor Bronco though. Maybe 2nd year run.

    Overheated the Raptor

    Stay within tow capacity.

    Paint imperfection

I'd make them repaint it unless your good with a graphic to cover it. If it's just the clearcoat that's a relatively easy fix.

Got to check out some Bronco Raptors today

I have a feeling the next model year will have better bodywork and fender flares. It sounds like a capable offroad rig.

Gen 3 worth it? Debating backing out for TRX

Only you can make that deci sion. I'd get the Gen3 because it's a good size and you could daily it in town with better mpg.
