Geez man you don't play around . How'd you manage getting ford to donate a gt power plant? I have to say your build quality and attention to detail is impeccable, I'd like to see what you do with that crew cab.
Absolutely badass @1966 F100 Raptor . I have a 24v p pump engine I'd like to swap into something I was about to buy a 41 f1 to put it in but it was beyond butchered.
Wow that's impressive ! Nice job on both man, how long did it take to get it to a running state and did you need to make or buy custom motor mounts? It's pretty cool seeing the engine in that ill give you that.
Absolutely spectacular build, if I may what drove you to use a raptor engine over any other available engine? It's unique and awesome I just want to know as a fellow gearhead.
@RaptorRoD from what your post reads it appears your trying to be genuine and helpful but for next time keep the information you deem helpful to yourself about allocations and raptors on a lot as you'll soon see. If someone is looking for an R trust me they'll find it themselves, and a heads up...
Took me going to 4 dealers to find one willing and competent enough to fix the phasers. Also our 16 mustang spent 1 month and 18 days at a dealer waiting for a long block due to ford esp trying to deny the claim. Had to get ford involved and had an advocate that was completely useless and full...
I have about 1k miles on my cam phaser replacement and it's as I anticipated the truck to be. No more loss of power and no random times that it falls on its face when accelerating. For what the truck is it moves out quite nicely now
@Irregular F150 I'd prefer the trees than the swamp, the pic was the back bays bordering the ocean. The pine Barrens is a nice place but can be unforgiving if you end up in the wrong spot
@Donovan I agree and your not the first wise man to say those words to me. Currently it's not as easy as blinking my eyes but I do think about it often.
Just saw this now, RIP @CoronaRaptor .. you were a great person and definitely knew how to welcome the new members here, thank you Jim and all of you guys here.
See you on the other side.
