Do you really plan on driving in 5 feet of water? That is about how high the air intake is. The user manual says you can ford 3' of water, which has precautions built into that value. I don't know where you plan on driving, but I would recommend a different route.

Ford flat out said only 10% of orders were for scabs. I love mine and quite frankly I wonder what I'll do when it comes time to get a new truck as there will only be 4 doors available.

I hope the order banks open before 6/30. A dealership here has a big ad campaign about how they don't charge over msrp. But, the offer ends on 6/30. Locking them to msrp, plus a 2017 scab trade in, and I'll get it for less than I paid for my 17.

Believe it or not, they offered in on the Transit van either last year or this year.

It isn't just a piece of plastic. The skin of the tailgate is way different. They might have stacks of appliques, but not the aluminum skin they need.

I did line-x in my bed when I first got the truck. Not a particularly bling thing, but the truck is Avalanche and I color matched it.
