I bought at 76k with no belt change in the history as well. I had the stealership do it at 99,995 when it was in for cam phasers. I get this annoying squeal after rain, even after the belts were changed. I assume it is a pully.
This with the SPD catted downpipes is my plan. I am just concerned about drone. Let us know how you like that combo and how it compares to the sound clips.
The shock center nut was loose on the drivers side. Got a good turn and a half out of it. The other was tight. That took 90% of the sound away. Now I have something that I think is a inner tie rod.
I have a 17. TSW did the shock rebuild a few months after I got the truck (70k I believe is when they were rebuilt). Now with almost 110k they are 100% in need of a rebuild again, probably should have done it at 90K. I am not nice to the truck though.
I am looking at these too. With the trombone and HX muffler. My concern is my next door neighbor is the king of *********, so I can't be too loud.
Nevermind, I don't care if I wake him up.
I think one of my cats is bad, at just under 110k miles. I am getting a slight shudder at high load high RPM. Troubleshooting seems everything is fine. Previous owner was a 87 octane only guy with unknown driving habits. Aftermarket downpipes with cats might be a better solution than waiting months.
I am curious if there is anything like this available for our trucks. I guess you can get them right from GM on their trucks. Built Right is a great idea for when you’re off roading, but not just for carrying things daily. Don’t care for traditional need toolboxes.
I have been having this problem lately. Would always torque steer under hard acceleration. But now any throttle at all and it is pulling hard right. Nothing changed, no new tires or rotation. Just suddenly started. I am assuming one of the IWE is stuck disengaged. One thing I have noticed is...
I was doing some dumb stuff off road and bent the drivers side step to the point I had to climb out the other side and jump on it a few times to open the door. Now it just doesn't look perfectly straight... I would like sliders just as a peace of mind thing.
Deaver +3 with rebuilds and its 90% better for me. Then tire pressure adjustment is what got it really under control. Every once in a while now it gets a little shimmy at highway speed around a corner with a dip from a drainage grate or terrible road repairs. But not sketchy like it was when I...
I have the same problem. When the truck is warm but not hot it makes ample and smooth power. When it is hot it makes very little power until 5000 rpm then it pulls hard. Definitely a boost leak, but odd that it suddenly starts pulling way later in the powerband. My thought initially was the BOV...
