Correct, you don't have to remove the strut. I rented two sets of McPherson spring compressors from Autozone. I was only able to get 3 on spaced evenly but the extra one provided a little peace of mind as compressing springs makes me fairly uncomfortable. There is a thread on here where someone...

I second that. I had a body shop fix a dent on my wife’s Yukon XL and they painted and blended it masterfully. You can’t see where the new paint ends and the old begins. Just make sure it’s someone reputable. Beautiful truck btw!

Hi all! I purchased my first raptor last Saturday. Truck came with a couple minor scratches so it’s ready for some fun! Did the mid-perch mod today and taking the cheap light bars off later this next week. Anyone here from Ohio? Looking for some Raptor friendly trails to hit.

Just got done doing the mid-perch mod! My first mod after getting the truck last Saturday. Have to say it made a big difference in the way it drives and handles!

Thank you all for the replies! It turns out it was the plastic liner moving toward the wheel. I pushed it back and plan to tie it back after changing to mid-perch. Hopefully doing that this weekend!
