This happened to me not too long ago, except it was the passenger side. Still can’t wrap my head around how it slips off the perch like that.

Having the same problem with my 2017. Pulled the engine cover and noticed oil ontop of the valve cover, thinking it’s the manifold gasket. How’d you make out with this?

Battling some electrical/circuit demons lately. The button on the tailgate seems to be dead, but the key fob and door buttons (5/6) still pop the tailgate with no problem. I checked the passenger floorboard fuse and crawled underneath to check connections with no luck. Could this be a bad button...

I agree, it almost looks like the spring was too big which caused it to pop off the perch…. I’ll know more once I get down to the shop and really address it. Can’t wrap my head around someone installing the wrong size but nothing surprises me these days

Only took about 2 weeks of ownership to see my gen 2 get loaded up on the back of a flat bed. Looks like the front passenger strut blew, I’ll know more once it gets thrown up on the lift. Will probably end up replacing both sides
