I’ve never had mine intervene before. I’ve gotten a light a few times when a car ahead of me is turning right and I’m approaching fast knowing it will be out is the way. But I’ve never had the brakes engage in their own (other than adaptive cruise).

When I took mine in for cam phaser software update, they updated the TCM at the same time. This was on a ‘19 and I wasn’t having any shift issues.

I did rigid lights through Specialty Performance Parts. Their harness makes it plug n play. Easy install for novices.

I went with stock location Cobb intercooler and Goose Tune. I had a second tow tune done as well.
