Why is it every time parts are on back order? Even pre Covid? Yours sounds just like mine I have a tick after phaser repair and they said unless check engine light comes on its normal.

I had no load on left front tire and i sat spinning / almost trying lurching backward in 4 low...but going no where then applied brake and it grabbed got me out so that's as close as ive got. Hard to explain.

If the vehicle they are in is a v6 or 4cyl then yes there is a v8 noise coming from outside. But who knows what they are driving.

The big difference is 17s have slightly smaller turbos then 19s and 20s. Not sure about 18s, also only matters if your tuned. Its only by 1 or 2mm but that helps when tuning

So is this going to be it. Small changes on styling and bigger nav screen ect, maybe the generator stuff...if so ill keep my 17

It must be some tuners are making big power on e85 and only thing i can tell is different fuel pump,intercooler, maybe injectors

Seems windshield would be only viable entry point maybe that seal is bad?

Depends if you have added lights, could be a short. If not the could be a battery issue or negative side issue. Id check those first
