I had a local body shop "smoke" the mirror reflectors and undercoat the rear fender wells. The white paint under the fender wells was really bugging me.
I also had the windows professionally tinted.
I wouldn't mind selling my Raptor since I never drive it.
I special ordered it in Jan and picked it up in May. It only has 2200 miles on it and is flawless. Its garage kept and never driven in the rain. The only time it was washed is at the dealer the day I took delivery. I just wipe it...
No, the paint was cool and I've never waxed my vehicles in the sun. The glaze came off easy. The Americana was more difficult than I was expecting. I applied it in a thin layer, but ended up using the quick shine detail spray to get it all off.
It was harder than I expected to get the Americana off of the smooth paint. I would imagine it would be even more difficult to get it off of the textured graphics.
I just Put a layer of Adam's Glaze and Adam's Americana on my Raptor's paint. Would have liked to have put them over the graphis but I didn't take the risk of it not being compatible for them.
Guess I'm about to do it the old fashion way... Without a machine.
I'm planning to do the waterless wash, Adam's claybar, Griots paint sealant, Adams Brilliant Glaze, then Adam's Americana Wax.
I'm not going to risk applying the products over the graphics.
