    Recurring Suspension Squeak

I drove 500 miles this weekend after only the shock was replaced on Friday. Squeak is gone. I asked the Service Manager to use the ears before replacing it and the shock was much noisier than the rest of the suspension. It was the only change, outside if the reassembly and torquing of everything.

    Recurring Suspension Squeak

Add another one to the list. Had right front replaced yesterday at 8300 mi. We will see how long it stays quite.

    Towing Reviews ONLY

What Differences? Just Curious, I haven't pulled my Ranger z520c with my new 37 more than a couple miles. They should pull similar...

Where are you guys mounting your radios?

I agree, you need to be able to change channels and easily read the faceplate. Typically, the wife or passenger can manage the simple channel changes. My wife can sometimes be a stubborn challenge and I need to see the faceplate while driving to figure out her issue trying to help. I can...

Where are you guys mounting your radios?

Some clarity…my faceplate is in the passenger media bin, not the center one. It’s not the perfect answer but once we pick a channel for the group, it doesn’t change much. I think my tmd710 will do 75 watts on some bands 50 on others, turned down to licensed levels where required. MARS/CAP mod...

Where are you guys mounting your radios?

I mounted the faceplate in the media bin and the radio on a ram mount under the passenger seat for my Kenwood HAM. Not as many good mounting options on the Gen 3 for those of us that want everything out of sight when not in use.

What should new 2023 be going for?

You should be able to get at least a few grand off MSRP, which is what I did right when the market turned in September for a 37PP. The original 35 No Sunroof Raptor I ordered showed up a few weeks later and sat on the lot for a couple months until they lowered it to MSRP. It just sold a couple...

Is fuse 27 swap really necessary?

I carried the kit for 9+ years, 180k, and never replaced mine. I was prepared if needed, but it wasn’t broke.

Daily Driver + Sports Car --> Raptor

I made the jump from the 14 Gen1 and a nice 15 Mustang GT 50yr to a Gen 3 37 last year. I do miss the Mustang, but not the cleaning of it. Cleaning 37s seems to be about an even trade though and takes almost as long. I did like keeping some of the miles off the Gen 1 with the Mustang as a...

    Gen 3 spares?

With my Gen1, I had built up a nice parts and tools box that goes on those “not close to home” trips for common breakage items. I had IWE's, unjoints, spare tie rod, second spare, electrical crap, a few Raptor Specific sized tools etc. On the Gen3, what breaks on trail that should be...

    Any Lady Raptor owners?

My wife drives mine and likes it. We ordered her a Ranger Raptor so it was easier to park. It will also get used on the tight trails when needed. It was quite a few years ago but there were a few women driving raptors at Snoball when I went.

    Vanity Plate Ideas

I have been running BD RPTR since the Gen1. The wife will have BD RNGR on her Ranger Raptor if Ford ever gets around to building it.

Want to order a Ranger Raptor

I ordered one for the wife at MSRP when they were first announced. I spent a few hours calling around my area to find a dealer to work with me on the price.

    GEN 2 ODYSSEY 65-PC1750T Battery

I ran the odyssey extreme in my Gen 1 for almost 4 years when it was replaced under warranty. I had three years on the replacement when it was sold and it was going strong.

Did you get a gen 3 37 performance package raptor?

    J. Allen Ford in Gulfport, MS. It was new with 24 miles and all options except the R. I give credit to my wife, she is actually more persistent than my GSP. She found it and worked the deal while I was out eating dinner with a client. I had an MSRP deal at a dealer in Ofallon MO that is...
