Take it from an industry insider - dealerships promote transmission flushes to increase revenue. Follow the manufacturer’s schedule, NOT what your dealership suggests. They make a ton of money on unnecessary and not infrequently, damaging “flushes”

That’s good advice. It may be due to incompetence rather than fraud, but either way it sucks. I worked for an OEM for 22 years and had day-to-day dealer contact. Best thing to do is work your up through the chain of command (at the dealership) and you should be able to get to the bottom of it...

So, If FORD put Mobil1 in there it would be one thing, but they don’t - it’s a synthetic blend. The 1st change is supposed to be 7,500 (I think). I’m kinda old fashioned as I changed the oil & filter @1,500 miles and then every 3k thereafter. I think you’re ahead of the game using the factory...
