I'm at the tire shop, and the guy working here cautioned me that true 35 inch ko2s will rub do to the width on my 2017 Ford Raptor with OEM beadlock wheels. Can anyone confirm? Should I stick with 315 70 17 size
OP,
That really sucks, but how is this a Ford, aluminum, or paint quality issue? You actually have damage to 3 different finishes: the powdercoated steel bumper, the painted plastic fender flare, and the clear coat/paint on the aluminum body. The aluminum bed itself appears salvageable, but...
It would really frustrate me if my Raptor was consuming oil, but I don't understand people who buy a $70k truck and don't check the oil periodically. I check mine immediately after every oil change and at least a couple times between oil changes.
I would offer $500 over invoice to the dealer who told you he can order you a 2019 Raptor, order exactly what you want, wait a few months, and enjoy your new Raptor. Have them give you a trade quote for your 2016 F150, trade F150 when new Raptor arrives.
I've bought 3 Raptors exactly as I...
I had several lights come on when i was towing our boat last year. Hill Descent, Advance Trac off, something ABS brake related, ect (no power steering though). I took it in and the Ford dealer said that they cleared the codes and could not reproduce. However, the next time I towed, the same...
Sometimes I think I'm one of very few people who checks their oil regularly. My 2017 doesn't use a noticeable amount, yet I check every 1,000 miles or so, after every oil change, and when I purchased new.
There's oil pressure, but not oil level on the dash. I manually check my oil every 1,000 miles or so. I haven't used any in 11,000 miles and 3 oil changes on my 2017 Raptor.
Who cares what people think, I know I don't. I just paid off my 2017 Raptor last week, it's nice owning a truck that's still worth $60k and is depreciating very slowly. I live on a crappy 3 mile long dirt road, the Raptor does well in this environment.
I am 42 years old, my 2017 is the third Raptor I have owned. I live on a 3-mile long dirt road in the middle of nowhere, 150 miles from any major city.
I have not owned any type of sports car since my 1987 Mazda RX7 Turbo II. That was a long time ago. Sports cars do not do well on the dirt...
