Changing From 89 to 93 Octane

In their defense, pump was down at the dealer, truck was on fumes and wife and I had our newborn with us. Since my son was a ticking time bomb, I rushed them to get it done so we could get the hell out of there.

Changing From 89 to 93 Octane

Thanks for the feedback. Just wanting to make sure there wasn’t something more specific I needed to do to transition.

Changing From 89 to 93 Octane

Just wanted some advice/guidance from anyone who has changed from lower octane to 93 in their gen 3. Picked mine up today and dealer filled it up with 89, but based on the separate threads I’ve read on here, I would like to switch to 93 on my next fill up. Never had to do this before, so looking...

    May 30th squad

Picked it up today. 50/50 relief to excitement ratio and like what was said above, I still can’t believe I own one now. May be the 1st person in history to go from Ford Escape to Raptor, but here we go!

If You Have Railcar Number I can Track it!! BNSF and Norfolk Southern!

It’s ETA to destination rail yard. After the car makes it to final rail yard, you’ll want to be on the look out for a status update of RMTY(released empty) which means the railcar was offloaded and your truck is on the ground and available for haul away to the dealer.

How long did you wait? Built > Shipped Status

Built 5/31, Shipped 7/7. Went from truck out of the plant to rail at Melvindale same day, so I should receive this week. Built to shipped is a crap shoot and there is a vacant wasteland of information as to what is actually going on in between those 2 statuses.

My truck now shows shipped as of this morning and tracker has updated! Built 5/31, shipped 7/6. Never showed a hold of any kind and I guess I’ll never know what the true hold up was. Seems like they got some part/chip catch up done last week while the plant was down, so I assume my vehicle was...

    Build to Shipping times

    5/31 built and released. Still hasn’t shipped….

Appears there are a few former “in production” trucks that have moved to awaiting shipment and some on awaiting shipment around our time frame that have shipped out the last 1-2 days from what I’ve seen combing through different F-150 type forums. Hoping this trend continues and we all get some...

Delivered to dealer, but not ready for pick up...

Don’t understand it. Making assumptions here, but I’d venture you sat in awaiting shipment for so long because of the wiper motors, so why not just ship the truck to the dealership to begin with and at least get that part of the elongated process over with.

My original ETA of June 25-July 1st is still current according to FP, but I’m sure it will update when next week goes by and I remain in the awaiting shipment boat. I’ve seen separate threads(on a diff forum) of trucks showing built awaiting shipment in May where they were told 4-6 weeks into...

I got the spray bed liner on mine. Was sent for bedliner on 5/25 and then showed built on 5/31. According to FP, it’s showing back at the plant, but who knows at this point. I think like everything else it is a crap shoot on how long it takes, but I saw another build coming to a dealer down by...

    May 30th squad

Interesting that there seems to be quite a few 5/31 builds still waiting to be shipped(mine included). I’m in ATL and as of yesterday according to FP, still showing released from the plant and awaiting shipping assignment. Original ETA window is still holding at 6/25-7/1, but that seems...

    CN Rail Tracking

I don’t know of a tracker, but if they gave you a railcar number, your truck should now be on the railcar and ready to move, if it hasn’t started moving already. If you call CN’s customer service number, you should be able to give them that railcar number and ask them for a “trip plan” or ETA...
