Got the notification on ford pass. It directed me to the ford owner site where it says there are no downloads available for either of my vehicles (‘19 Raptor and ‘19 Explorer). Both are currently on 3.3.
The first boats with these motors are starting to get out there and it sounds like people are really liking them. The common thing I'm hearing is that they're a lot quieter and feel like they've got a lot more torque on the bottom end.
I saw some cool features too when I looked on indmars...
You'll never see them in a Mastercraft. They were bought by Penske who has their own marine engine division called Ilmor. I believe in 2012 you still had the option of Ilmor or Indmar but everything is Ilmor now. I guess there is the remote possibility that Ilmor could switch for the reason...
I think there were two of us who had the OEM camera added after the fact. Mine was supposed to be ordered with it and was not so the dealership worked with Ford to get it done. I paid the option cost for it but from the details I got it would probably be much more cost effective to go...
I've got one and it's plenty secure in the screw without bolting it to the floor. The supplied brackets that slip under the seat brackets and bolt in do the job just fine. If someone has the time and wants it bad enough, bolting it to the floor isn't going to help much. It would be much...
At the end of the wash, run a stream of water over the entire truck. The sheeting effect of the running water will pull most of the water off of the truck. If you have a good protectant that beads well, leaving it that way makes it much more difficult to dry. By running water over mine, I can...
FMS-M-6731-FL820 is the FRPP version of the standard Motorcraft filter. It filters and flows a little better than the standard. I went ahead and just ordered a case of them through Summit to keep the price down a little. They came to $15 each. Plus, I no longer have to make a run to the...
Funny, I can get on average about 5 gallons in my '12 after the pump kicks off the first time and about 2 gallons in my wife's '12 Edge. No fuel spilling issues, codes, or stalling and this is consistent for fueling up at different stations so it isn't the pump itself.
I've got the Undercover Flex. I'm still on the fence about it though. I really liked it at first and had no issues but lately it's been leaking like a bastard. I'm not sure if it happened when I made an adjustment to it or if there's a bigger issues. I'll have to wait and see.
I had a similar observation as OP. I noticed it months ago when we bought my wife's Edge. My Raptor and her Edge are both 2012's but you can definitely tell that the edge has a higher quality paint job. It does bother me a bit but not that much.
Hers is the dark blue pearl metallic and if I...
There are only a couple of dealerships that I know of that have taken on the task of retrofitting the front camera. If your dealership has already given it a shot, I'd say that's a pretty good indication of them admitting they've made a mistake and are willing to make it right. My truck was...
Check out Bladetech. They make holsters for things I've never seen anywhere else. I got one from them that works with my full sized .45 USP with a G & G light rail adaptor and and light. You can buy the blackhawk quick connectors seperately and I'm guessing it would take to much to combine...
I'm sure it adds to the time, but I wouldn't say it comes close to doubling it. Not for me anyway. Besides, I use it as stress relief time. I have an excuse to get out of the house and play with my truck. The kids run around the yard and give mom a break, which makes her happy, which makes...
I've had the hard water dilemma as well and the spots that go with it. The easiest and cheapest way I've found to help cope with it is in the washing and drying method itself. First, which is pretty common sense is never wash in the sunlight. If the sun is shining where I wash my truck, I...
