Not having to switch tunes with JDM is a big benefit to me. always having to swap over to the 5 star "Tow" tune was annoying for the holiday trailer.
JDM claims they will tailor an all around tune just like the truck came from the factory.
JDM +1. Had 5 star before I added the blower, talked to 5star when I added it and they didn't help me. JDM was nothing but professional and Im super happy with the driveability.
I have a Roush stage 2 kit, bought the JDM tune and a SCT handheld from them Great service start to finish and well worth the cost to get a better performance, highly driveable tune.

I’d agree with the above. A daily driver with only 6500 miles troublefree but I’ve done a few preventative items and left out a few.

Just make sure the hose clamps are tight, Looked at used truck (diesel) with a CAI the guy said was never dirty, reached down and the hose clamps were so lose they swiveled around the filter. Alot of good the filter was doing, hate to see the inside of that diesel.
I completed the Roush 590/590 kit about 5000 miles ago. Only because the roush kit was more accessible in my region and the support from a local speed shop gave me some peace of mind. Installed, drove for a week to make sure everything was good. Then talked to JDM and got an improved all around...
I dont totally agree with that. If you shop at a reputable shop and do your homework and also have a proven way to get the email tune into your truck... I think an emailed tune is well worth the money.

I have inquired advice from both Dane and MTF before my install. I did do the melling oil pump with a set a NGK plugs during my roush 590 install.
Later I added the bigger throttle body and JDM tune. About 1000 miles on the truck so far without issue.
My exhaust is just a cat back 18” single...
My speed shop charged an hour and a half although they had the intake manifold off for a supercharger install.
