I was speaking as a consumer and not a dealer. Regardless, Ford dealers are being short sided in their thinking when they charge such excessive premiums, and it will come back to haunt them and will alienate their customers.

Agreed! When my dealer, who I thought appreciated my business, offered to sell me a '22 with 35's for $15k over ADM (resulting in $93k) I was out with them and will not go back. Anyway, for $93k MSRP, almost anyone get a fully loaded C8. Yes it'll take 12-14 months to get, but well worth it IMHO.

That's the one I replaced on mine. Could they have found a worse spot to put it??????

The actuator you want is accessed from the passenger side floor board and not the driver side. IIRC, the one by the accelerator pedal has something to do with defrost, but I wouldn't swear to that.

Very interesting and very good news. As was stated earlier, it won't completely stop the ADP B.S., but maybe it will make dealers think twice before doing it anyway. Lol

I had the clicking for numerous years before the gears finally completely sheared off inside the actuator and it finally gave out. FYI, my A/C worked fine on the passenger side when it came to cooling, but the driver side was a sauna with only hot air coming out once it finally sheared off...
