Got it hard wired in. Found the fuse box in the kick panel and hooked the wire in to one of the fuses.

I took off the kick panel but did not see a fuse box. I did see some wires. I will check again and look better.

I just purchased a radar detector and I also purchased a hard wire kit so it's not plugged in to a cigarette lighter and a wire dangling. I was not in 4x4, I was in 4x2 as always. I never use 4x4. It's rare for me to use it.

This happened again this morning. The "Wrench" icon displayed on my dash and I lost all power while a t a red light. I had to shut the truck of, remove the key and start again for it to go away. No one else has had this issue? It happens while sitting at a red light.

Maybe it's that rare that no one else has experienced it.
