Maybe it’s a southern thing but most other raptor owners wave back. Hell even when I’m not driving the truck I find myself waving or nodding to other raptor drivers. They must think he’s crazy.
SP542s are the best OEM plug, especially if running a tune. Unfortunately they can be difficult to find these days. Last set I had to piece together from local auto stores and ebay sellers.
I had the same issue and disinfecting/flushing my AC/Heater core solved the problem. I followed this guy's solution and it worked great on truck, so great that I used it on all of my cars.
I ran Cobb OTS Stage 2 & TCM tune, both are excellent and I've had no issues. But I've heard great things about Goose. Just make sure to change your spark plugs more often and try to find colder plugs.
For peace of mind change the battery every 2-3 years and increase the cold crank amperage. When the battery gets weak our trucks show strange behavior. From my previous BMWs living in the south with hot summers, the batteries are the first thing to go.
I agree, the stock brakes are the weakest link on the truck. I wanted to keep the stock wheels so I built my own upgrade kit. Stoptech slotted rotors and hawk performance lts pads. Braking feel and performance were improved, only down side is that the pads are a little noisy. But I’ll take that...

Unfortunately this issue is still plaguing our trucks. Ford cheaped out designing and manufacturing these critical parts and did their best to avoid issuing a recall. I have an early 2017 which had this issue, and sorry to see newer trucks are still affected by this.
