I like it a lot. Definitely more power. The transmission is more aggressive than I want, but they can and do adjustments upon request. You just need to ask at no additional cost as far as I can tell. No issues so far. Swapping tunes does require going under the hood, but it's super simple and...
Livernose tune is good. Under the hood flash is like maybe 3 minutes? Half the cost of Cobb.... I am sure Cobb and Goosetune are great, but at half the cost I don't see how the experience is just that much better...
I appreciate that. I will keep an eye on it. So far the tune runs well. Currently running the e30. Really damn quick. Kind of miss the more laid back ride if I am honest. Wondering if it would help to put the skip shift back on.
I hear you and appreciate the information. Spent $800 on...
Just installed the 93 performance tune on my 37PP. First impressions, holy shit... Haha.
Pretty good. Pulls very hard, smooth shifting. Interesting part is the traction control keeps kicking in and tires spin a little. Due to more power obviously. Have not tired the e30 yet, but very happy...
I have Cobb on my e85 tuned GT-R. It is a great platform, mainly for the external tuners to use and create their own tunes from the base tunes. I also own ecutek (same parent as Cobb). Luckily ecutek still supports e85...for now :). Looking forward to some intercoolers and CAI from Cobb for...
Due diligence is fine. How about some accuracy in your updates.
Cobb also screwed a lot of tuners this year with the response to the epa.
Point is some accuracy and predictability would be great Fanboy
Took too long to roll out fellas. Maybe more clarity on timing and less teasers. Annoyed me enough to pull the trigger on the Livenois tune. More hp, no bench unlock required.
Will check you out next summer if the Goosetune proves to be worth it.
Can you explain more the benefits of this tune and how it compares to say the Cobb tune that was just released? The Cobb tune requires and ecu bench unlock. Many of us will probably not want to do this. I assume the Cobb probably can get more power, but in your opinion is the livernois fairly...
Awesome and about damn time! A day late for me unfortunately... BUT very interested to see the power results over the winter/spring. Hopefully worth the hassle.
Curious if this the final package/product format, or do they plan be able to do the normal flash process without sending ecu back...
I am sure it will. I still plan to do goosetune, just don't want the hassle after waiting all this time on Cobb.
Will play with the livernois tune a bit, then switch to cobb once they get it together better down the road. Just looking forward to some fun either way :)
Been waiting on this forever it seems. The fact that I have to pull the computer and send away to be base tuned...bs meter filled. Pulled trigger on Livernois tune 30 minutes ago. Will wait until it's obd or not at all if this tune is enough.
