Tore a sidewall on my original tires. I was going to get new ones in the spring anyway… I read somewhere there is a “37” tire that’s actually 36-1/2” and doesn’t run. Any one know what this would be? Any other advice for tires for the Vegas area desert? D or E? I am just a newbie to this...

Similar situation - going back to work soon, and my truck will be at the airport for days. Wanting a good cover that can fit snugly, and deal with potential winds. Truck is in the drive otherwise, partial shade from a tree but that’s it.

Understand the air down… how much difference with different tread patterns? Never done sand, but I’d like to (when ever I get my truck back!).

I did Llumar IRX as well… windshield made a huge difference! I can’t remember the degree of tint, but the ceramic does the trick. They advised going darker wouldn’t make a difference in heat. So I only went enough to make it hard to tell what’s inside the back. Vegas traffic - gotta see...

Turbo vehicles do so much better in the thin air. So much less wind resistance (air density is not linear - 18,000’ is 1/2 atmosphere)

May be a stupid question, but what about the inside/opposite sidewall? Not for looks, but if to air down and keep the tire on the rim… don’t both sides have to be addressed? It is it mostly a turning issue, and the outside is the important area?
