What is your total travel with your setup? Drop shackles or standard length? As in when the truck is at full droop measure from bump stop strike plate to bump stop “end” and then add 2.5”.

Gotcha, I struggle with the room. 5’-6” bed don’t leave a lot of room. I run dual spares laid down and a cooler. Takes up a ton of room

I’m game! I had an odyssey that failed after about 3 years on one of our trail runs last year. Currently running a motorcraft again. If that thing tolerates high vibration I might be interested. If you move your batteries to the rear, are you going in the bed or along the frame under the cab?

Not sure that is the case. My comment was more so about how the gen 1’s have such a weird cross section we’re the bump stops are that you can’t C notch it very well. The gen 2’s look so much cleaner.

Gen 2 frame rails are so much nicer than gen 1’s…………..

An alternative to the megazilla would be texas speed’s crate 7.3. Still runs stock bottom end, fine for me as I am good with staying NA anyways. Comes in at $15,000 , which is about as much as a 7.3 from for with stage 1 heads, cam, phaser lockout, etc.
